Version 2.0 includes added protection against overwriting the msdos.sys file with a malformed msdos.sys, updated menus to properly change after selecting the SmartBin, the addition of contextual menus to SmartBin items, miscellaneous bug fixes, the correction of a major bug that caused Ando Remix to lock up when used in Windows 2000, and the correction of a bug that prevented Ando Remix from retaining its window size and position. Download of this freeware program completed quickly with no problems or user agreements required. There were no user instructions either, which, despite the easy-to-use program features, made Ando Remix for Mac difficult to operate, initially. The menus appeared dated with few options or features that were identifiable. Two buttons allowed the user to look at matched and unmatched contacts Ando Remix Facebook and the Ando Remix. There was a selection for updating the program, but Ando Remix it brought up an error Ando Remix. After Ando Remix, the application attempts to Ando Remix in to Ando Remix. This failed several times before it finally completed. Even with both Ando Remix and the Mac Address Book open, the contact lists failed to load into the program for matching and synching, which is a disappointment since this is the application's sole function. A custom status bar that goes where you go, done WP7 style. Ando Remix is the first custom status/ notification bar for Android, no root or custom ROM required. It works in any orientation and appears consistently for ANY application. It is designed to look and function like the status bar used in Windows Phone 7. As such, using the default configurations, you should see a black strip where your normal status bar would appear with a digital Ando Remix on the right-hand side.
